Spring is Here – Time to Plan Your Team’s Summer Events

With the arrival of spring (finally!), we’re looking ahead to longer, sunnier days – the perfect time to start planning your summer team meetings and events.

There’s still time to book venues with outdoor space, whether that’s enjoying lunch in the fresh air or building in some outdoor team activities. Even in city settings, many venues now offer fantastic terraces and private gardens, giving your team a breath of fresh air while staying productive.

We also work with a network of trusted partners who can deliver a wide range of outdoor experiences, including:

🌿 Mindfulness walks in nature

🧘 Outdoor yoga sessions

🎯 Full-scale team-building events

These are a great way to energise your team and make the most of the season. Dates are filling quickly, so do get in touch soon and we’ll help you secure the best options.

If you’re a smaller team but would still like to be part of a large-scale summer event, you can purchase tickets for the Corporate Fun Afternoon at Cambridge City Football Club, Sawston – 19th June 2026. Read more here

For larger events, there are fantastic venues across the UK with extensive outdoor space, many now offering permanent marquees that are ideal for summer parties.

Imperial War Museum Duxford

This year, Imperial War Museum Duxford (just outside Cambridge) will be keeping its air show marquee in place throughout the summer. For the first time, groups of 250-1,000 can hire a private space with an incredible backdrop of historic aircraft. The marquee also features its own fenced lawn – perfect for garden games and relaxed networking.

Racecourses

Racecourses are an excellent choice for summer parties, offering ample parking and expansive green space for all types of team activities. They are also well equipped to cater for large groups, with indoor options readily available should the weather turn.

🎄 And yes… it’s already time to think about Christmas!

It might feel early, but planning ahead means better availability and more choice – particularly for larger groups.

We’re seeing businesses get increasingly creative with their end-of-year celebrations:

  • Splitting large gatherings into smaller team meetings and dinners
  • Moving company-wide celebrations to January, combining them with kick-offs or awards ceremonies
  • Extending celebrations into 2–3 day retreats with workshops and team-building – especially valuable for hybrid or remote teams

Thursday and Friday nights in late November and December are always in high demand, so considering January dates can also help reduce costs and increase flexibility.

Let us help you make the most of the seasons ahead – whether it’s a sun-soaked strategy day or a festive celebration to end the year on a high.
