The Poets House is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Ely, ideal for small team meetings and residential stays. The hotel has two meeting rooms:
- The Writing Room – the larger space, seating up to 35 cabaret style or 16 boardroom style.
- The Boardroom – seats 15 on a fixed boardroom table, or up to 20 for private dining.
The hotel has 21 individually styled bedrooms, and has recently opened 15 additional apartments at Poets@24, just a short walk from the main hotel. Together, the hotel and apartments can accommodate residential meetings for up to 30 guests, using a combination of bedrooms and apartments.
The Poets@24 Apartments include studios, one- and two-bedroom units, each with tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, and a basic kitchenette (kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, and crockery).
We have successfully used this venue for small groups and team away days in the past. Being a true boutique hotel, groups of around 20 guests will often be the largest in-house, ensuring privacy and focus. Feedback from clients has always been excellent — the staff are praised for their service, and the food consistently receives high marks. With the new Apartments it is also and ideal venue for visitors who are staying in the area for a little longer
