B&B Hotels: Smart, Comfortable & Rapidly Growing

B&B Hotels are a French hotel chain expanding at an impressive pace across Europe and beyond. Founded in Brest in 1990, the brand was built on a simple promise: comfortable hotels with a warm atmosphere and pleasant design — all at an affordable price.

Rapid Global Growth

The chain has experienced significant expansion, tripling its size over the past decade. Today, B&B Hotels operate more than 900 hotels in 19 countries. Since becoming majority-owned by Goldman Sachs in 2019, the group has grown faster than any other hotel chain worldwide, increasing market share year on year.
In 2024, B&B Hotels opened their first properties in both the UK and the USA.

B&B Hotels in the UK

There are currently six B&B Hotels open in the UK, located in Derby, Birmingham, Inverness, London, Ipswich and Warrington.
The group has ambitious plans to grow its UK portfolio to over 50 hotels within the next five years.

Several additional UK properties are already being converted into B&B Hotels. Notably, the former Holiday Inn Express Duxford (Cambridge) is undergoing a full refurbishment and will reopen as B&B Hotel Cambridge South in early 2026.

Commitment to Sustainability

B&B Hotels hold certification from Socotec, reflecting their commitment to responsible and sustainable operations. The group places strong emphasis on environmental impact, energy efficiency and community responsibility.

Design & Guest Experience

B&B Hotels pride themselves on their philosophy:
“Smart Design. Maximum Comfort. No Fuss.”
