Sustainability and events are often not seen as words that can exist in the same sentence. However, that is not the case – there are many ways that you can run in-person events in a much more sustainable way.
Over the last few years, we have written a lot of articles about sustainability in our sector. We thought it would be a good idea to combine links to all our articles in one space.

Hybrid Events
It is also good to offer delegates the chance to attend virtually if they have a long distance to travel. For smaller conferences of course Teams or Zoom are great and more and more venues are adding camera’s, speakers and microphones to their inbuilt AV. For larger events the virtual platforms have all evolved to encompass hybrid conference features. Most now allow both in-person and virtual delegates to interact with each other and as one audience with the speakers. We work with a number of great suppliers who can provide the platform and film/broadcast the conference. Here are the links to some of our past articles:

Just Let HotelRes Know Your Requirements
If you want us to include questions about sustainability in our venue search please do let us know. Hotels and venues are at very different stages with their “Environmental Policies” but most are willing to work with client’s requirements. Venues are also slowly adding additional AV into their smaller rooms, such as cameras, microphones and speakers to make video conferencing easier. Please just ask if you think you may need additional equipment for virtual conferencing. If you are thinking of including virtual delegates at your larger conferences please just let us know if you want to chat through the options and our experiences with the many platforms. We are here to help!
